Default E/X Solo Wurm Farm!!!!!!!!

E/ME/R/MO/N/W

Pve

Solo Wurm Ele

Attributes:
Earth Magic:16 (12+3+1)
Energy Storage: 13 (12+1)

Skills
1.Armor of Earth
2.Kinetic Armor
3.Earthquake
4.Aftershock
5.Crystal Wave
6.Aura of Restoration
7.Elemental Attunement {E}
8.Glyph of Concentration, Serpents Quickness (Ranger), or Physical Resistance (Mesmer), Mend Ailment (Monk, bring this in case you get interrupted with concussion shot to get rid of dazed.)

Equiptment:
Regular Elementalist armor from droks with sup earth and stones eye(+1 Water Magic)
Galigords Stone Staff

How it's done:
Leave Dunes of Despair, and head towards the teleport. Right outside of dunes is a group of Forgotten archers, hammers, and swords. If there is more than one archer go back into dunes and restart, the interrupts will be too much. Cast Ele Attunement, Armor of Earth, Kinectic Armor, then Aura of Restoration. Run into the group and run to the archer (if there is one there).
Try to kill him as fast as you can using Earthquake, Aftershock, and Crystal Wave. Remember to keep casting so Kinectic armor doesnt run out. Once all the forgottens are dead go through the teleport and take a right.

Run around until you get knocked over, cast AoE and wait for the wurm to come to you then cast all your other spells. Try to keep damaging the wurm because they regen very fast. Keep your enchantments going and hope he dies before you.=P If more than one wurms spawns you will probably die, unless you r t3h ub3r 1337. Run around and keep killing wurms, theres other things you can kill around there such as griffons, hydras, and a few minotaurs. I try to stay away from the sand elementals and giants.

This build is not extremely profitable because of the difficulty/good drop ratio, but its something different and fun.
I'll post some pics when i get around to it.

Have fun

Not sure I love the idea of Earthquake in a build designed to hunt something that can't be knocked down ...

Are you sure this is better than (I haven't tried this against Wurms, I must admit, not that group of Forgotten, but it works great against Sand Elemental mini mobs and lots of other desert monsters)

Ether Renewal (E)
Aura of Restoration
Kinetic Armor
Armor of Earth
Earth Attunement
Stone Daggers
Aftershock
Balanced Stance

Yes, I know that's a cliched build, but if you put Earth at 16 and Energy Storage at 12, you have enough points in Tactics for Balanced Stance to protect the whole Ether Renewal chain.

Killing Wurms without anything armor-ignoring would be slow, but you can swap in Crystal Wave for Aftershock easily enough if you like.

And I've forgotten -- how do they regenerate? Healing Spring? Stone Daggers has a good chance of interrupting that.

healing spring is what the rock throwing worms use... wurms just knock you down and use pretty normal attacks but i dont think these builds will really work no offense.

Why would you want a glaciers eye in a build full of earth skills and not a single water one? I think you mean a Stone's Eye (+1 Earth)

*cough*

Stone Daggers
Obsidian Flame
Crystal Wave
Armor of Earth
Kinetic Armor
Aura of Restoration
Balthazar's Spirit
Ether Renewal

I find Ether Renewal and Balthazar's Spirit far more effective for farming than any attunement. You'll need to be at least constantly spamming Stone Daggers to outdamage their natural regen. Crystal Wave when available, Obsidian Flame when exhaustion is gone.
You can also easily kill the Enchanted guys with this. Make sure your enchantments are up BEFORE you engage them, and do not chaincast anything. After every cast wait 1-2 seconds. The archers are too slow to interrupt any of your damage spells and they'll miss, unless you cast two spells in a row, they'll hit the second one and you'll be very dead. If you need to refresh AoE, wait for them to try Concussion (which they'll miss) and then refresh right after.

Audra,

I just tried without Stone Daggers (Aftershock and Crystal Wave) or any anti-interrupt (I took Balanced Stance for later in the run) and it was a disaster. The Enchanted meleers body blocked me before I could get to the Enchanted Bow, Concussion Shot hit, and I quickly died.

Anyhow, whether or not Stone Daggers is in there: To a naive calculation, it takes a lot of spellcasts to kill that ranger, and he'll be trying Concussion Shot every 10 seconds or until you do nail him (dunno how long it takes him to run out of energy). And if you're trying to cast slowly, you don't get full benefit from Ether Renewal.

So I don't understand how you're so sure he'll miss with Concussion Shot. What am I overlooking?

You'll want Stone Daggers to keep Kinetic Armor up. If you get interrupted, you cast too fast. Wait 1-2 seconds after every cast, and they'll miss
You won't need ether renewal for the Enchanted, if you have monk secondary and bring Balthazar's Spirit.
